This guide refers to the culinary S's that are the most important when starting your new food life after and during head & neck cancer treatment.
The key points I have learnt with dysphagia and PEG fed transitioning.
Are the four P's and the four S's. In my experience if you can master these then you have a framework to transition and a framework in which to involve food for the rest of your life.
There is a survival diet, a recovery diet and an ongoing diet. The framework I have devised covers that and allows for IDDSI inclusion.
